The Paraffin Scraper
, Paraffin Scratcher or Paraffin Cleaner(we
name it Automatic Oilwell Paraffin Cleaner, AOPC)is a device that could
automatically and continuously eliminate paraffin and mineral scale
in wells, using the rod stroke power, without any alteration to the
existing pump equipment, and without any additional power, or manual work.
It works independent of the surrounding temperatures
and depths of the pump, and adapts very well to petroleum of various
physical and chemical characteristics and other natural circumstances for
differing territories. Continuously and dynamically working, the Paraffin
Scraper eliminates paraffin essentially in the whole oil channel and thus
secures the pump with a steady (even decreased) load and an electric
current. Simultaneously, it can eliminate such condensed things such as
mineral scales, salt, dirt, scum and colloid that cannot be removed in any
other way. It has simplified as much as possible the procedure of

output of oil.

The principles of work of the Paraffin Scraper include
walking tongue-shaped springs which clamp the pump rod, transferring energy
from a stroke of the rod to simultaneously drive the Paraffin Scraper and
blades at both edges of the cutter to scrape off such condensed things from
the wall of the oil pipe; such as the paraffin, colloid, scum and salty
dirt. While a stroke of the rod is finished and the rod is on the way back,
the Paraffin Scraper is stopped by reversing fingers, supporting on walls
of the pipe, so that the rod glides through the walking tongue-shaped
springs on the way back, and the coupling of the rod by itself opens and
passes through walking tongue-shaped springs. In this process all the
condensed material on the rod are scraped and eliminated.
The mechanism includes top reverse, bottom reverse, and
the safety unit. Top reverse includes a reversing body and an elastic
stopping ring, while the bottom reverse includes a reversing body and a
rigid stopping ring. The safety unit includes the adsorbing cylinder and
strong magnetic block.
